My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dover! He's a happy go lucky 5 year old hound/shepherd mix that arrived from another shelter in hopes of getting a home sooner at Friendship. Dover is an energetic boy that would love for an active family with maybe even a fenced in yard to take him home. His history is not known but he's hoping that this will be the start of a brand new fabulous life.

On June 28, 2014, Dover was selected to be one of Friendship's Prison Dogs. He is currently undergoing training at the Grafton Correctional Institution. Dover is being trained in obedience, basic commands, manners and proper leash walking. He will spend approximately 12 weeks at the prison.

If you are interested in adopting a prison dog, adoption applications are now being accepted. They can be downloaded at friendshipapl.org under ADOPT-FIND A FRIEND. A limited amount of apps will be accepted for each Prison Dog. They must be hand delivered to Friendship. If you have any questions, please contact the shelter at 440-322-4321.

PLEASE: If you put in an adoption application on a prison dog and find another dog before they return, please inform Friendship.
