MEET THELMA and LOUISE....partners in crime, retired! These two girls are sisters, both 7 yrs old, black, 11 and 10 lbs respectively (Louise is a little smaller) and purebred Shih Tzu from a breeder. We took them, after being told the breeder was closing down, which turned out not to be the truth. Queenie is their mom. We feel lucky to have gotten them out of there, since it had probably been years since they vetted them. Their skin was atrocious (felt like alligator), their eyes were dry and their ears infected. They were withdrawn, shy and unsocialized. Well, all of that has changed! Their skin is all healed, they do need medication daily for their eyes but they have been vetted and are 100% better than when we picked them up! THELMA is the leader, LOUISE the follower. Louise does not like loud noises and is a bit shyer than Thelma. Once she knows you, she (and Thelma) are very loving and kissy! They are very mellow, but playful. They love to play with their toys and go for walks. They prance like little show dogs, and they know some commands. They are very food oriented and will bark at treat time! They are pp pad trained but will also go on their walks. These girls are adorable and count on each other for support, especially Louise. They could go into almost any home, except one of chaos! A mature home might be best...but they are fine with kids. We love them and hopefully, so will you!!

We currently hold our weekly adoption events every Sunday (unless we are doing a special event) at the WESTFIELD CENTURY CITY MALL located at 10250 Santa Monica Blvd., Century City, Los Angeles 90067. Enter off Santa Monica Blvd and park in the ORANGE section in the parking structure. Take the escalator up and follow the signage. We will be located near the Brooks Brothers (look for the purple tent in the Plaza between the two buildings) from 12 - 4PM
Here you will have an opportunity to interact with the dogs and see which might be a perfect fit with your household....and do some fantastic shopping at the same time! Please do call us if you are coming to see a particular dog to make sure he/she will be at adoptions (we do not bring sick dogs to our adoption events). Please bring a copy of your application and pictures of your home and yard if we have not done a home check! Most importantly, if you have a dog, make sure you bring him or her to do a compatibility match with the dog you are interested in adopting!
