Sometimes a 9-month old puppy can be a little overwhelming...maybe a bit nippy...or just a little crazy - And then there are pups like Kimmie. She's nothing but positive energy in a soft and gentle way. At 9 months old and only 9 lbs at this point, this adorable Schnoodle will ultimately weigh approximately 10 to 12 lbs....and that's 12 pounds of pure love. We're sorry about the sad shelter photo as it doesn't show how truly beautiful Kimmie is. We'll post a photo from after her rescue just as soon as we receive it...she's truly gorgeous and ecstatic! Kimmie is a perfect size to be so portable that she can accompany her family just about anywhere - and be an absolute joy. She is so excited to meet new people...her whole body starts to wiggle and wag with delight. And then of course, it's lots and lots of adoring kisses mixed in with a hop onto any lap that is available and inviting. The excitement grows if there are Kimmie's favorite people present...she is definitely an equal-opportunity lover! A walk or a trip to the dog park is always greeted with great enthusiasm...Kimmie just wants to spread her love of life and all its possibilities around to everyone she meets. It's almost impossible to be serious or sad when Kimmie comes onto the scene...she brings out the smiles in all of us. Her antics are very often silly and entertaining... but never, ever mean-spirited. The Schnoodle (Schnauzer/Poodle mix) is one of the favorite mixes available today. We've yet to rescue a Schnoodle that wasn't sweet, loving and so smart....and therefore easy to train and wanting to please. Kimmie would be a perfect family dog - we strongly suggest positive reinforcement training classes for family bonding and to make this exceptional pup the very best adult dog she can be. Kimmie is a mix of 2 non-shedding breeds and will therefore require periodic grooming and great nutrition to keep her soft-as-silk coat healthy and matt-free.
Kimmie is arriving on transport in Denver on 6/27. Applications are currently being accepted for this wonderful pup who will make an exceptional family companion.
