BETTYE's Story...
Bettye is a 7-8 month old lab mix who may just be the perfect puppy. She was rescued from a shelter in Arkansas and she is so grateful for her second chance at life. Bettye loves affection. She loves to play in the yard with all of her doggy friends. She loves to lay in the room where her family is and just sleep. She loves children and she has never met a dog or a person she did not like instantly. bettye settles so nicely in the home and in her crate. She goes in without even being asked. Bettye sleeps in a kennel at night and she never barks and she never has an accident. She has the most beautiful shiny black coat you could ever see. Bettye is almost full grown at 36 lbs so she likely will be on the smaller side of the lab range.Bettye has been spayed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. Her adoption fee of 425.00 Includes her transport to the midwest. Our next transport is scheduled for July 10 ( The Road Home Pet Transport) For an adoption application on Bettye please email Blues City Animal Rescue at baversa1@gmail.com. Why Adoption is a Great Option

BETTYE, a Waterbury Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Boxer for sale in Waterbury, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Waterbury.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Waterbury already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Waterbury breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Boxer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Waterbury paves the way for another one to be saved.
