Melo's Story...
Melo (pronounced Mellow) was named for his fabulous temperament. He is a laid back, gentle fellow that gets along well with everyone....including adults and children....and other furbabies. He is quite the handsome pug!

This guy found himself in rescue after his last family dumped him in a high kill shelter with his fur siblings when they moved.

He is completely vetted, neutered, and microchipped. He is heartworm negative. He is housebroken and crate trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melo, a Greensboro Pug/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pug/Beagle for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a Pug/Beagle dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pug/Beagle breeders who help with Pug/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
