Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kali is a ruddy Somali who was purchased from a breeder as a kitten. But she did not integrate well with her new family which included another cat and a dog. She gets along with her brother Kerfuffle, but should be separated from him because their bond substitutes for the bond she should have with her human companion. Somalis truly enjoy human companionship, but something about Kali has derailed that.
Although she is currently a cautious young lady, she calms a bit with touching and stroking, but it takes a bit to pull her from her comfy spot or hidey hole.
Kali needs an experienced cat owner. She would do well in a quiet, mature home where she would be the only cat, or perhaps another cat that could show her how to enjoy being with human company.
Although she is pedigreed and has papers, we did not want the papers from the surrendering family. We want her to be selected for who she is and what she can become in a new household.
