James's Story...
Meet James! James is a one year old male cat waiting for his forever home! James was found as a badly beaten up stray outside. James is a sweetheart! He LOVES attention ... and cat nip. When James gets his paws on some cat nip .. there is no turning back. He is hilarious! He rolls around in all funny positions and has a blast. James is a very young boy who loves to play and romp around. But he's also pretty happy just laying around with you. He would be the perfect cat for any household .. even one with other cats! James was definitely not fit to be outside - he's way too sweet and laid back! James is just a cool cat who is ready to find his forever home. He wants a new friend to hang out with. He wants to finally feel safe and loved.

We Spay/Neuter all of our cats and they receive the necessary medical care including Rabies, Three Distemper vaccines, De-worming, De-fleaing, Microchipping, and Testing for Feline Leukemia/FIV.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

James, a Warwick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Warwick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Warwick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warwick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warwick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warwick paves the way for another one to be saved.
