Penny's Story...
PENNY
Birthdate: 6/10/13
Gender: Female
Breed: Boxer/Lab mix
Size: Approx 65 pounds full grown

Status: Spayed and ready to go home!

History:
Penny's owner bought her from a flea market as a puppy and took very good care of her, but after a bad breakup, she moved into an apartment that had a 45-pound weight limit on dogs. Penny most definitely cannot pass for a 45-pound dog, so she had to go.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Struthers Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Labrador Retriever for sale in Struthers, or seeking a Boxer/Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Struthers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Struthers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Struthers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Boxer/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Struthers paves the way for another one to be saved.
