Howie's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Howie's Story...
Breed: Husky cross
Gender: Male
Age: 7 months
Energy level: Medium high - high
Breed: Husky cross? only 40 pounds now, may have a stunted growth due to mange.
Good with dogs, cats and unknown with kids but should be fine

Rescue story: Howie was brought in from the spay and neuter clinic with the worst case of mange we have ever seen. This poor puppy was miserable from scratching his skin raw. It took over a month of special baths but now this puppy is doing great! His fur is growing back nicely and he is turning into such a handsome pup.

Hello, I’m Howie! When I first came in to Zoe’s I had really bad mange, but as you can see, my fur is growing in really well! I’m friendly, playful, outgoing and gentle. I’m definitely part husky, as I love to chat, but I may also be part lab. I love stuffy toys and I don’t even unstuff them! If you’re looking for a young companion, apply today!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Howie, a Edmonton Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever for sale in Edmonton, or seeking a Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Edmonton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Edmonton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Edmonton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Siberian Husky/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Edmonton paves the way for another one to be saved.
