My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

see detailed adoption process at
www.sadt.info
located in Redding approved adopter comes here to adopt we do not transport nor ship

Fully vetted ready for a super great new home if time allows we will also get him another professional bath and light grooming, nail trim

Peanut would do just fine living with a mellow fem dog like himself a Cocker be great but any other small to med older or mellow and non aggressive breed be fine
he has no problems with other dogs but has not lived with any

Peanut is a cute 30 pound purebred Cocker, around 6 yrs old perfect age for a young retired person with breed experience that has tons of time for this cutie as well as the finances to keep his coat looking great

he's a handsome buff color very cute boy loves his plush toys and collect them in his bed or walk with one in his mouth when excited

Cocker people will know that regular grooming a absolute must besides everything else such as ear care

This boy is very sweet and very food motivated and a fun boy running outside in a fenced yard, sunning himself collecting plush toys and being by your side along with daily walks weekend hikes exploring nature would make him happy

Peanut is not a needy needy dog but just likes to be around his people

Peanut is good going to the Vet and super at groomers too, great in car,
needs more training on leash as he gets so excited out and about he loves to jog to the full 16 foot retractable leash, knows a few commands, housetrained, indoor dog, he's good with visiting respectful kids of any age, he's mellow but loves walks and hang with his mommie likes to have his own couch or share yours
has no hang ups with people or dogs

He's been with same family for 4 years and before that lived with the breeder, was never in a pound always loved, no trauma
Peanut would love a young retired person or couple that will dote on him has time and want a companion not just a dog as part of the family
no apartments please

He's not a snappy type dog he's loving to everyone

Since he grew up with a girl he could live with a nice older respectful kind gentle child too
he does like to play catch me so a child old enough could play with him

Peanut is a great dog for his breed not fearful
