Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Tippy is a sweet and shy, 10-month-old, golden-eyed grey and white female cat who just loves to be loved.
Tippy is healthy, spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, and she has tested positive for the FIV virus. The FIV virus is an autoimmune virus that can not spread to dogs or people. It is typically spread through deep bite wounds, so she is absolutely fine with non-aggressive cats.
A well-intentioned 80-year-old woman collected two dozen cats in her Chicago apartment. A developer has purchased the building and the cats need to find new homes. Tippy is currently still at the building but needs to get out to a foster, adopter, or rescue group before the buidling is demolished. To meet and possibly adopt Tippy and/or any of the other cats, please contact Liz the Tree House Community Cats Program Manager at liz@treehouseanimals.org or 773-798-9250. Her adoption fee of $50 benefits rescued pets. She is currently living in Chicago.
