Ronnie is a male Havanese/Bichon Frise mix puppy approximately 8 months old. He has a gorgeous tri-color coat of creme, brown, and gray curls that are non-shedding. Ronnie currently weighs 12 pounds and should reach an adult weight of approximately 15 pounds. He is a beautiful dog, a true head turner. Ronnie is very affectionate and interactive with people. He enjoys being part of the family and will follow you anywhere. He is a big baby and likes to rest his head on your shoulder when you are holding him. Ronnie rides well in the car and loves to join you in whatever you are doing. He is a good boy in public and walks nicely on leash. He is good with other dogs, good with children, and with cats. Ronnie is a gentle soul and prefers gentle play. He is eager to please and his attentiveness makes him very trainable. He is already quite good inside the house and does not have an puppy vices that we have observed. Ronnie is more the pampered pooch, finding the softest dog bed or the warmest lap to snuggle in. Ronnie was brought in to a very high-volume/high-kill shelter where we rescued him. We quickly noticed that one of his back legs was painful and he was not using it. After seeing our orthopedic vet specialist, Ronnie has had surgery to correct a common, genetic condition of the back leg joint. He will make a full recovery and will be able to use all four legs like a normal dog. Ronnie is worth it and is going to make a fantastic, loyal and devoted pet. He is a beautiful boy and deserves a beautiful life. Ronnie is ready for his new forever home today!

Ronnie’s adoption donation is $425 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). He has been NEUTERED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is his collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of his records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Ronnie is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteers, Lynda, Eric and Lisa and is ready for his forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

RONNIE, a Newport Beach Havanese/Bichon Frise puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Havanese/Bichon Frise for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Havanese/Bichon Frise puppy from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Havanese/Bichon Frise breeders who help with Havanese/Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
