Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello, I’m Prissy. A female long-haired Daschund/Spaniel mix born approximately 2/06. I am spayed, up to date on shots and tested negative for heartworms. Kind of like Little Red Riding Hood, I was traveling in the woods trying to find Grandma’s house, or really any house with food. I am now in a foster home where I am learning that the “Big Bad Wolf” isn’t around each corner trying to hurt me. I love belly rugs and want badly to be loved, but I do get jealous of the other dogs in my foster home because I want all of my human’s attention. I obviously had to defend myself in the wilderness and am having to learn to play with other 4-leggers and trust that they aren’t out to get me or my food. I tend to take some of my food and “hide it for later”. Foster mom is teaching me that I do not need to do this any longer, the food will always be there for me and no one will steal it. I am a lady though, I will not start anything, but will let them know when they are crossing the line. I am happiest sleeping next to and cuddling with my human person. I am a very gentle pup and will make some lucky person/family an awesome companion.
