Lucky's Story...
Hope I'm Lucky This Time.................because the third time is supposed to be the charm, right? My name is Lucky but I've been unlucky staying adopted through no fault of my own. My first owner moved and had to leave me behind, and that owner got sick and died. And I know I am not a thing of beauty, but I make up for my appearance by my wonderful personality! I was born on November 4, 2004 to a black lab and dachshund--and don't ask how that happened because I wasn't there! I am 3+ years old and weigh, uh, 51 pounds AND I KNOW I'M OVERWEIGHT. If you need to walk too, how about adopting me and taking me along! I'm dependably house trained, leash trained and crate trained though I'm well behaved and really you don't need to confine me. I don't eat a lot and am not into garbage. I have never lived with kids but do get along fine with other dogs and with cats. I am neutered and all up to date on my shots, and my adoption fee is $200.00 to someone who wants to keep me FOREVER!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Osseo Labrador Retriever/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund for sale in Osseo, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Osseo.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Osseo already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Osseo breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Dachshund breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Osseo paves the way for another one to be saved.
