"Hello, all of you nice people! My name is JASPER, and I'm a playful, happy Miniature Schnauzer mix who's looking for a new home. I'm only one year old, so I'm ready to learn all sorts of new things. I enjoy running around the play yard, and I also love to snuggle up close to somebody that loves me. I can be shy until I get to know you, but once I do, I'll be your loyal pal for life. I get along great with other dogs, and I'd do best in an adult home. The shelter staff is pretty sure that I've already been house trained, but I'll probably need to "bone up" on those skills once I get to my new home. I'd appreciate a daily walk to help me get my exercise, and I'm getting better every day at walking on a leash. I especially enjoy chasing toys in the play yard, so I'd love to have a yard in my new home. I sure hope you'll come visit me soon at the El Cajon Animal Shelter! They have a wonderful play yard here where we can spend some time getting better acquainted. I'm confident that you'll see for yourself just how charming and sweet that I can be.
