My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there friends! My name is Bea. I am a one and a half year old border collie. I am full of enthusiasm and wonder. I love to hang out with my people but even more I love to learn. In my previous home I was more than what my people bargained for and they just could not keep up with me. I then started making up my own fun games! They did not appreciate the games I created and just could not meet my needs. They made the very tough decision to send me here so I could find a home that better suits me.

I am a very high drive border collie. What does this mean? I need an experienced, strong leader who is able to give me a highly structured environment. If I do not have enough things to do ... I go looking for my own entertainment. Foster mom says trouble, I say fun! Needless to say, if you are not active, I am not the border collie for you. Everyone says that I am adorable. I admit it, I am. However I do love to push the limits and see what I can and cannot do.

Once I know what I am supposed to do I am on it! Foster mom has a small car to drive to work in. Once I figured out that my spot is in the back, I am jumping in before she has the hatch open! One time I heard the click and was jumping before I should. Now foster mom makes me sit and wait for an ok. I think it is silly but she insists I have to wait because I am scratching her car by jumping in too early.
