Hi there. My name is Skippy. I am about 5 years old and I weigh about 35 lbs.
I was found as a stray in the Leetonia area with my friend Sulley and was brought in the pound.
I am a super sweet and loving little fellow!! I get along great with other dogs and I love all people. I am even great with kids. Some of the volunteers' kids come over the weekend and I LOVE being walked by them.
I am pretty good inside and I don't mess in my kennel, but I may need some house training "refreshers" when I get to my new home. I was likely house broken at some point but was probably kept outside for a while.
When I came in, I was heavily matted all the way down to my skin so the pound had to have me groomed. Now that I am all shaved down again, the people just cant believe that I am not a puppy!

I appear to be in good health. I have been given my Parvo/ Distemper vaccine and I have been dewormed with panacur dewormer.
PLEASE CONSIDER THIS DOG, AS WELL AS ALL THE OTHER DOGS AT OUR SHELTER AS URGENT. OUR KENNEL SPACE HERE AT THE POUND IS VERY LIMITED. THIS DOG COULD BE EUTHANIZED WITHOUT FURTHER NOTICE ANY TIME AFTER JUNE 26, 2014.
HERE AT THE COLUMBIANA COUNTY DOG POUND, WE TRY VERY HARD TO PLACE ALL OF OUR ADOPTABLE DOGS IN TO LOVING HOMES OR SEND THEM TO GREAT, APPROVED RESCUE GROUPS, HOWEVER, WE CAN ONLY KEEP OUR DOGS HERE AT THE POUND AS LONG AS SPACE ALLOWS.
MY ADOPTION FEE IS $110 CASH, WHICH COVERS MY NEUTER SURGERY (WHICH MUST BE DONE PRIOR TO ME LEAVING THE SHELTER), MY PARVO/DISTEMPER VACCINE, RABIES VACCINE, DEWORMING AND MY CURRENT OHIO DOG LICENSE WHICH WILL BE HONORED THROUGHOUT THE STATE OF OHIO.
THE POUND IS OPEN MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY FROM 8 AM- 4 PM AND SATURDAY FROM 9 AM- 12 PM. WE ARE CLOSED SUNDAYS AND HOLIDAYS.
