Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Sport is a 5 - 6 month old pup who is having a ball discovering the world around him, learning new skills and playing with his foster siblings. He has gorgeous blue eyes and a personality that will win you over in minutes. He is currently learning his basic commands and how to behave in the home. He is coming along nicely but will need someone that is willing to continue with his training and socialization. Sport has been fully vetted including being neutered and is a happy, healthy boy.
Here is what his foster family had to say:
Sport is an adorable pup that has wormed his way into my heart. He is excited to meet everyone and loves making new friends whether they are two or four legged. We are still working on not jumping up to greet new friends and he has made a lot progress. He does still playfully nip but when corrected he apologies with kisses. Sport loves to wrestle and play tag with our dogs, sometimes he get's a little too excited but a short time out and he is back to playing respectfully. He is curious about the cats and thinks they are playing tag if they run away. He would do best in a home with dog savvy cats.
He is a brave boy, curious about everything and no fear of anything. He does love attention and affection but he can also easily entertain himself. When things are quiet he settles down easily and enjoys having a good snuggle. He is eager to please and food motivated which is making him easy to train.
Obviously Sport is going to need someone that is willing to continue working with him to ensure he is fully trained and a capable companion. He is coming along nicely with his training so far but is still a puppy and will need constant supervision until he can be fully trusted in the home. He knows sit, off, leave it and we are working on down and drop it. Sport is very responsive to verbal commands and picks up new things quickly. He is well on his way to being house trained, however he is still unsure of how to ask to go out so we are proactive with regular bathroom breaks. Sport is very respectful on leash, at first his excitement gets the best of him however he quickly settles and walks at your side.
He is very smart boy and figures new things out very quickly. He is responsive to verbal corrections and likes to make his people happy. We are working on not jumping up to greet new friends and he has made a lot progress. He does still playfully nip but when corrected he apologies with kisses. We are working on crate training with Sport. Although Sport is not a fan of being crated, he settles down after a few minutes and is relatively quiet in the crate.
Sport is amazing pup who has settled in very quickly, he is very sweet with his people and loves to follow them around. He is curious, brave and affectionate and great companion. He would do best with playmates and a backyard to burn off his puppy energy. Sport would do well with older children or as a active single's companion. He adapts quickly and is just a happy go lucky pup.
If you think Sport would be a good addition to your family, please submit an application for consideration.
