Luna's Story...
Luna – Gentle Giant
Luna is striking with one gorgeous ice blue eye, beautiful confirmation and the sweetest freckled belly. She is incredibly affectionate and gentle and likes the simple things in life…a ride in the car, laying at your feet and a new stuffed lovey are among her favorites. Luna loves people and hanging out with doggie pals. When she connects with you, the bond is strong and permanent. She is loyal and affectionate and knows her place is with her family. Luna loves to go bye bye and meet new people. She’d is a great “about town” pup. Luna is about 5 years old and weighs 65 pounds but I swear she thinks she is still a puppy! We think she is a mix of American Bulldog, Boxer and Pointer. Come out and meet Luna and you are sure to fall in love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Luna, a Austin Boxer/Pointer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Pointer for sale in Austin, or seeking a Boxer/Pointer dog from a breeder in Austin.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Austin already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Austin breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Pointer breeders who help with Boxer/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Austin paves the way for another one to be saved.
