My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The woman stepped out her front door and there was Buffy. Injured. In pain. The woman could tell Buffy needed immediate attention so she reached out to CSRET. X-rays revealed a fractured pelvis and a fracture at the L7 vertebrae. As time passed, we could see Buffy's pain intensifying so she spent the night at the emergency clinic, receiving IV pain medication. The next day she was seen by an orthopedic doctor. We have no idea how Buffy was injured. Hit by a car? Kicked? Something dropped on her? We will never have the answer. We do know her recovery will be slow and expensive...but she is recovering. Part of her treatment includued electro-magnetic therapy. The treatments were expensive, but really seemed to help. Buffy's foster mom reports that she is improving every day. Now that she is able to get up and walk outside on her own, she's ready to move on to a very special forever home that will take loving care of her.
