Sookie's Story...
Sookie is an affectionate white lab/pitbull mix approx. 6 years old who is happy all the time and just loves everyone she meets. She is very friendly, beautiful of course, and loves being with people. She is a shelter favorite and you can't help but smile every time she gives you a wag or a kiss. Sookie is house-trained, crate-trained, and walks well on a leash. She also knows how to sit and is very obedient. She is calm when in a home and will make a great companion for you. Sookie does prefer being the only pet in the home and will love to become part of a family where she'll get some form of daily exercise and lots and lots of love. Come by and meet this wonderful dog today! You will love her once you meet her. Thank you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sookie, a Voorhees Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Voorhees, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Voorhees.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Voorhees already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Voorhees breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Voorhees paves the way for another one to be saved.
