Calibos's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Calibos's Story...
Calibos is a 1 1/2-year-old male lab/hound mix. He was an only pet so not sure how he is with other animals but has not been aggressive when he sees other dogs . Calibos needs a home without young children because he is food aggressive, but this can be resolved either with crating while he eats or by working with a trainer. He is a super sweet guy, but he still has a lot of puppy energy and has not had much training.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Calibos, a Middletown Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Middletown, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Middletown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Middletown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Middletown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Middletown paves the way for another one to be saved.
