Leonardo's Story...
Leonardo is always thinking. He ponders, reflects, and problem solves! We are always wondering what is going on in his little head. He's a healthy little guy, raised by his mom in a FOR foster home. He has fantastic social manners with other cats and is fine with dogs as well. He likes little kids too. He has received all the necessary vet services: Felv/Fiv test negative, neutered, microchipped, FVRCP vaccination, and he's been examined by a vet. His adoption fee is reduced to $50 until July 31. Now is the time to meet Leonardo! Please email info@FORrescue.net to talk with his foster mom, schedule a meeting, and complete an application. Thank you! Leoanrdo is fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Leonardo, a Marietta Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Marietta, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Marietta.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marietta already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marietta breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marietta paves the way for another one to be saved.
