Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello! My name is Kara. I am about 4 years old and I was brought in to The Pet Rescue Center when my previous family had to give me up because of a “No-Pits allowed” rental agreement. I had a Labrador boyfriend also, but he got to stay. I was very sad to leave my family, but I am glad that they brought me to live at the rescue and not the shelter. I am very happy here and well cared for. I love my other dog friends and I am very bonded with the staff. I love the long walks I get from the volunteers each day. I am looking for a family that will be able to continue socializing me and taking me to new fun places. I am very good with men, women and children of all sizes. I am a quiet girl with not much of a bark. Some of the girls call me the gentle giant because I just want to give kisses and be snuggled and I don't know that I am big girl. I just want to love and be loved! Please give me a shot at a new life with you! I wont let you down!
Right now we are offering to waive Kara's adoption fee and also offering a $500 veterinary credit at the Alicia Pet Care Center. Lets get this girl a home for the holidays!
ADOPTION PROCESS: Pets are visited by appointment (times are flexible). Please email adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org to arrange a meeting time. This process allows potential adopters to spend adequate time with their prospective pet and prevents long wait times. All interested parties must fill out an Adoption Application, which will be reviewed to find the best possible match. You can find our application online at: http://www.thepetrescuecenter.org/adopt/adoption-application.html. Completed applications can be submitted online, faxed to (949) 743-5878 or emailed to: adopt@thepetrescuecenter.org Our adoption fee is $300 for dogs and $150 for cats, and includes spay/neuter, microchip, flea treatment, deworming, regular veterinary check-ups, and current vaccinations. This fee helps to defray the costs of medical care, supplies and boarding while the animals are in our care. The Pet Rescue Center is a 501c3 non-profit organization that seeks to rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome pets from high kill shelters and is temporarily housed inside the Alicia Pet Care Center at 25800 Jeronimo Rd. Suite 100, Mission Viejo, CA 92691.
