My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi! I’m Humphrey, a 3 year old fawn/black Dachshund/Beagle mix. I’m a happy go lucky guy who has had some not so good luck lately. My mom got very sick and couldn't care for me anymore. I loved her very much but I understand.
Now I’m looking for a new family to play with, go for walks, rides in the car and just hang out. I love people and other dogs. I do ‘happy wags’ with my whole long body and a sweet ‘woo, woo’ with my deep voice when my person comes home. I also give great kisses! I am in obedience school and know how to sit, lay down and other basic commands. I didn’t live in a home with small kids but I love the older kids who come to volunteer at the rescue. I’m pretty low maintenance and would make a great companion. Please watch my video.
Dexter was very well-cared for in his previous home. He weighs about 18 lbs., is in good health and has a very easy care short coat. He will provide lots of loves and companionship for years to come.
