Daisy Mae's Story...
Meet our newest rescue, Miss Daisy Mae, a 24 month old Shih Tzu who is a real sweetheart! This little girl is a total love bug! She loves to snuggle. She’s laid back and calm. She does well around cats and other dogs but pretty much ignores them. She’s a loner. She loves sleeping in her little dog bed at night. She is crate trained and house broken. She does well in a car. We think she is use to being someone’s only pet and feel she would do best in a home where she is the only pet or one more at the most. For more information, please contact melissatrammell72@hotmail.com This dog is being fostered in or close to Charlotte NC

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Daisy Mae, a Charlotte Shih Tzu dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shih Tzu for sale in Charlotte, or seeking a Shih Tzu dog from a breeder in Charlotte.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Charlotte already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Charlotte breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shih Tzu breeders who help with Shih Tzu rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Charlotte paves the way for another one to be saved.
