My story

Hi, my name is Rusty! I'm a 2 year old, male purebred Golden Retriever who weighs in at around 50 lbs. I'm what people call a "red" golden. A couple noticed me hanging around a neighbor's gate for several days and called AGK. Unfortunately, I am HW positive which means medication and rest for me. Even though I have heartworms, I might be the happiest dog in the world! I love people and am good with kids! I will not be ready for adoption until I recover from treatment. In the meantime, if you are looking to expand your family soon, ask for me, Rusty!
