Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Thank you for considering one of our adoptable dogs available through our rescue in Jackson,TN! All of our dogs have been rescued from the West Tennessee area. The majority are dogs that were scheduled to be euthanized at the local high kill facility. The rest are either dogs that were intercepted before entering the facility, or dogs that have been surrendered to us by owners who can no longer care for them and ask us to find them a wonderful new family. All of our dogs are fostered in private homes in Tennessee. We have NO facility or fosters in the Pennsylvania area, therefore we are UNABLE to facilitate a meeting before adoption. However, once we have your adoption application we will have the foster contact you about the dog you are considering and will give you an honest assessment of the temperament and training. If you decide that you would like to adopt, the dog will be delivered to your area via licensed pet transport after adoption is final. Our next transport date is July 19th. To make that transport list, all adoptions will need to be finalized by July 10th to allow time for their final vet exam and health certificate. The cost for adoption, unless otherwise noted, is $350 which includes all vetting (spay/neuter, all vaccinations and age appropriate tests, microchip) and all transport costs.
Poppy was owner surrendered to our local rabies control along with her male friend. There was no reason for either of them being surrendered. Poppy was obviously pregnant and about to give birth any day. A lovely lady swooped in and saved her. Poppy had 6 adorable puppies. Her puppies have grown and now poppy is ready to move on and find her loving home. Poppy is a very sweet laid back girl. She would love to go to a home that will take her on long walks and let her lounge around the house. Poppy is about 2 years old and 50 lbs.
If you are interested in adopting or would like to learn more about one of our dogs, you must fill out an application at www.savingtheanimalstogether.org… it does not commit you to adopting.
Disclaimer: Dogs have been observed while in their foster homes, and appear to be of stable temperament. However, it is not possible to test dogs under all circumstances, so caution should be used in new environments, especially involving young children. Any training done prior to adoption must be continued after adoption in order to keep dogs from starting any unwanted behaviors.
