My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Maisy!

Maisy recently joined us after we received a call for help. She had been dumped in the callers yard and was terrified hiding in the planter. When they were able to gain her trust, she came out and began to warm up to them. It was clear that she wasn't taken care of very well. Maisy was limping, and had several cuts all over her body. It also appeared that she had several litters of puppies.

We took Maisy to the vet and were very saddened by her condition. Maisy had some rotten teeth, some pretty severe arthritis (years of abuse), had recently had puppies because she still had milk, a mild skin condition and a double ear infection. We decided that we wouldn't let Maisy suffer...so, we got her teath cleaned and a few pulled, spayed, chipped, ears flushed, x-rays and so on.

Maisy is now on Metacam and is no longer in pain. She is in foster care and doing really well. Maisy is receiving all of the love and attention she deserves. Maisy is SUPER mellow, does great on a leash, and is excellent with other dogs. Her fosters joke and call her lazy Maisy! She is pretty much your typical Mastiff.

A home check, donation and contract are required to adopt Maisy.
