Cornelia's Story...
Good day! My name is Cornelia and as you can see, I am quite the lovely calico. I came from a wonderful home where I was loved and doted on as the only cat. Sadly, my person had to go into assisted living and I was brought here. I don’t plan to be here long though, and I am putting my best paw forward to find my new home.

You can tell I had a good upbringing. I am sweet and very gentle. I am well mannered, outgoing and love attention. I get along with other cats and I’ve been known to be civil to dogs. While I know I’d fit into a quiet home, I think I’d also do quite well in a noisy family with kids.

Why don’t you come visit me? I’m sure I’ll be able to purr my way into your heart!

DOB: 6/1/2009

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cornelia, a Denver Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Denver, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
