Ivory in RI's Story...
Aren't I the sweetest, tiny thing? Do not let my appearance fool you...I am active and love to run all around! It is just that I am happy to be here with my mommy and brothers and sister in RI! We were in a crowded shelter in Louisiana in our mommy's tummy and she was not happy. SO lucky for us, a wonderful rescue lady came to get Mommy. She cared for her and made sure she was transported to RI. We were born on April 14th. I am small...just 2 pounds as of June 28th. Mommy is around 10-12 pounds. She has been a wonderful mommy to us and we are so happy here. We have had our first and second set of shots, and have been started on Heartguard. My fee of 395. covers transport to RI, vetting to date, a Health Certificate, an exam by a RI vet and I have my own blanket and collar as well. Please ask about me if you are in RI, eastern CT, western MA, Cape Cod, Maine or are near Boston, Fall River or Worcester. Please call Judy with any further questions at 401 640-0082...would LOVE a fur-ever family!!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ivory in RI, a Foster Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Foster, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Foster.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Foster already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Foster breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Foster paves the way for another one to be saved.
