This handsome young man (about 1 year) is Carlyle. I am hesitant to over use the word perfect... but here he is! Carlyle loves everything, kids, cats, dogs, more people... you name it, he wants to be best friends! He is very nicely mannered in the house, totally crate and potty trained, gentle on a leash, and the only time he talks is to "woooowooooo" at you when he wants to play! It's really more of a conversation... He is also super snuggly, and likes to hold hands... which is a little like shake a paw, but while looking lovingly into your eyes for as long as you will sit there!

Carlyle may sometimes show a little bit of insecurity with super loud or chaotic environments, but as long as you let him know you have his back, he can and will make it through no problem. He is a super smart boy, that will be fun to work with because his real goal in life is to make his people happy!

Carlyle is a true diamond in the rough. You may have have seen him on the Guardians for Hope page... He came in with a terrible skin condition and a nose full of infected porcupine quills. But now that his fur is back and his beautiful face is all healed up, he is ready to meet the perfect family!
