My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zoe came to her foster home at about 12 days old. Her eyes weren't even open! She was purchased from a homeless person who said her mother had been hit by a car. She was bottle-raised and is now about 10 months old. She weighs approximately 30 pounds, so she's not expected to be a large dog. Zoe is a terrier mix, black and dark brown, and a white blaze on her chest. She is very smart and very affectionate.

However, she needs someone willing to train her or take her to training classes. Unfortunately, her foster mom has been sick for a while and wasn't able to complete even potty training, although Zoe is about halfway there. She learns quickly and is eager to please.

She has LOTS of energy, so a home with young kids is not recommended. She is gentle, but little kids tend to get her very excited. She has never bitten anyone, and she loves people. She is also crate trained and gets along with the other dog and cats in the house.

Her foster mother is now gravely ill and cannot keep her. Zoe has a microchip and will have all her shots, rabies vaccination and registration, and be spayed before she goes to her forever home. She will be ready for adoption once she has been spayed.
