Tug's Story...
Looking for “man’s best friend”? Tug’s your boy!

FOSTER LOCATION: Salt Lake City, UT

Tug is a 5-6 year old Mastiff mix and has the energy and spunk of a much younger dog. This boy has it all! Manners, social skills and a loving personality to boot.

He loves to explore outside but minds his human’s voice and comes right back when called. Being inside doesn’t faze him either; he is housebroken and does well being left alone with free reign of the house.

Tug loves human company and especially appreciates long pets and rubs; with his super soft fuzzy coat you won’t want to stop petting him! He’s good with kids and knows to be gentle with them; though due to his size (113 pounds) alone we would suggest kids over 5.

He is always in a good mood, eager to please, and does well with other dogs 95% of the time, though can be a bit pushy with some. He does not do well with cats.

Tugs tail never stops wagging and he will be sure to fit right into any active home.

Tug is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped.

There is a $40 adoption fee for Tug.

If you are thinking that a this big, handsome boy is right for you please apply for him today: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tug, a Salt Lake City Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Mastiff for sale in Salt Lake City, or seeking a Mastiff dog from a breeder in Salt Lake City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salt Lake City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salt Lake City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Mastiff breeders who help with Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salt Lake City paves the way for another one to be saved.
