My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Zeus is a 11-month-old male blue/rust Doberman puppy with natural ears and a docked tail. Due to his young age, a fenced yard is required in order to adopt Zeus. Although he came with the name Zeus, his foster home calls him "Zoom" because this pup has energy that keeps everyone up and running! Initially shy with strangers, it is just a few days before he acts very playful and silly, and will carry his dog toys around the house for you, wagging his tiny tail. But, as goofy as this young guy is, he is also VERY smart, and in just a week, he has learned how to "Go to bed" (get in his crate), "Go for a ride" (get in the car), "sit" "fetch" and "wait" (before jumping out of the car), so we think he would be a champ at obedience school! He sleeps through the night in his crate and is fine being left alone in a puppy-proof area of the house. He is doing great with his house training, and is being fostered with two other dogs and enjoys the dog park as well. While he is very playful with other dogs, he can be a bit bossy, so he would be fine with a playful, social female doggy housemate of any size (small dogs welcome), or as an only dog. Videos of Zoom in action can be seen here: http://youtu.be/5LrBTiWZQv4 and http://youtu.be/JQFsYhYw8ns

> This handsome puppy loves car rides (sitting politely in the back seat of course) as much as he loves hanging out with you in the house following you everywhere to give you kisses, but he is currently afraid of children and runs away when he sees them. This is definitely something Zoom can overcome with time and training as he has already made tons of progress in his foster home, but at this time, we are looking to place him in a home without kids.
