Carl's Story...
Carl came to us because his owner could not take of him and his siblings. He is a lovable boy and really pretty laid back for a pup. He does love to run but when he does not run far before he comes right back to you. He will be altered on July 8, 20914. Carl is about 9 weeks old (6/30/14) and weighs about 15 pounds

Carl is currently living at Hope Sanctuary but transport can easily be arranged to New England through Animal Rescue Front! If you're interested in taking him into your forever home, please fill out the adoption form here: http://www.animalrescuefront.org/Adoption-Form.htm

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Carl, a Groton Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever for sale in Groton, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Groton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Groton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Groton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Groton paves the way for another one to be saved.
