Marvin's Story...
Marvin was born 3-28-2014. If you are looking for the ultimate lap cat, Marvin is your guy. He is such a beautiful, loving, affectionate cat. He and his best buddy, Sheldon are so much fun to watch as they play and chase each other. They are almost identical in personality, except Sheldon is more outgoing. Marvin will need more time to adjust to his new home, as he can be shy with new people and places. Please take a closer look at Marvin and Sheldon and consider adopting these two fun loving, lap cats. We think two cats are better than one because you can count on having two cats in two laps at the same time. Marvin and Sheldon are located at one of SOSCAT''s foster homes.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marvin, a Oakland Domestic Mediumhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Oakland, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair cat from a breeder in Oakland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oakland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oakland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oakland paves the way for another one to be saved.
