My name is Rex!

English Setter Dog for adoption in Greensboro, Georgia - Rex

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Rex's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and not good with cats.

Rex's Story...
Rex was surrendered to Athens-Clarke County Animal Control because his previous owners did not want a large dog with their child in the house. Rex does fine with other dogs and children. However, he does chase cats so would do best in a home without cats. Rex is a very calm dog and is well trained. He does still have pep in his step and will go on a long walk with you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rex, a Greensboro English Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Setter for sale in Greensboro, or seeking a English Setter dog from a breeder in Greensboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greensboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greensboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Setter breeders who help with English Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greensboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
