Hoss's Story...
Name: Hoss
Color: Black and Grey
Breed: Terrier Mix
Gender: Male
Age: 8 Months
Hoss is a bashful, sweet, energetic Terrier puppy looking for an experienced forever home.
Big fan of: Exercise! Don’t let his size fool you - as a terrier puppy Hoss will need daily walks to keep him happy and healthy.
Special Features: Like all of our puppies, it will be required that Hoss be signed up for positive reward based obedience classes before his adoption can be finalized. Hoss will need a home experienced with terrier breeds as well as puppies. Crate training is a useful tool that will be a great way to potty train Hoss as he hasn't learned that yet.
Dream Home: Hoss is very shy at first and would greatly benefit from a confident family and especially a confident canine housemate who can show him he doesn't need to be fearful. Confident cats would also be okay with Hoss that won't let him chase them. Hoss could live with respectful, mature children over 12 who have lived with little dogs before. He can get really nervous around fast, jerky movements and really doesn't like being leaned over. It is best to sit next to him and let him come to you, which he is more than happy and willing to do.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hoss, a Bellingham Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Bellingham, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) puppy from a breeder in Bellingham.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bellingham already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bellingham breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bellingham paves the way for another one to be saved.
