Scotty’s Mum and his siblings were saved by some kind volunteers from the Obejiwan reservation in Northern Quebec.
Scotty came into rescue at 6 months old and is just as cute as a button; we estimate his birthday as December 22nd! We expect him to reach no more than 60lbs approx at full adult age. He is not house trained at this time as he is still just a baby however he is slowly figuring it all out. He will do his business outside when he is outside without hesitation but inside he still has yet to learn to ask for the door when he has to go. So someone who is home frequently who can work with Scotty to house train him is more than ideal.
He loves to swim – he quickly found the puppy pool at foster mummy’s home and jumped right in without hesitation!
At this age Scotty is everyone friendly as we lay the ground work for a well socialized, happy canine citizen for future adoption, dogs (both big and small) and cats are no issue for Scotty to get along with.
Scotty has been vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and will be micro chipped at his next vet appointment
Scotty is a young and playful pup learning all the joys of playing with doggies and kitties. True to his believed mixes lab and border collie he is a very active and playful puppy with tons of energy. He wants to run and run so adoptive family must have a securely fenced in back yard. Scotty is super smart and a fast learner, he is just all around a happy puppy!
