Here is one great hound!

Abner is a happy, healthy 5yr-old boy looking for a lifelong home. He is neutered, current on his shots and knows a few simple commands.

Some of Abner’s favorite activities are running on the beach, sniffing the world’s wonderful smells, taking naps in the sunshine, and being close to his people. He is a good adult’s running buddy and companion, and is calm and patient with children. At the park he likes to howl and let everyone know he’s a hound, but he is gentle and friendly.

Abner loves playing with puppy pals at the park and beach but can get nervous in a new home with other dogs and needs time to warm up. In his few experiences with cats he’s discovered they are as fun to chase as squirrels.

Abner is looking for loving people who want to give him lots of exercise and attention. He really is one of a kind!
