This dog is being fostered in Oklahoma and must be adopted within the Dallas, North Central Texas or Oklahoma City and Tulsa area.
NAME: Charlie

Meet handsome Charlie. Charlie has a beautiful dark chocolate brown coat and brown eyes. This little guy is irresistible, and we know you are going to fall in love with him.
Charlie is one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. He is a little shy when you first meet him. But once he warms up and gets to know you, he becomes your biggest buddy! He loves to be held and carried. He really enjoys attention, but he doesn't demand it from you. It is a perfect balance for this little guy.
Charlie is an active Chihuahua who loves to be involved in the house hold activities. He gets along great with the foster dogs in his home. He loves to run and play with them throughout the day. He also loves to go outdoors where he can explore and enjoy the sun. Charlie enjoys the outdoors so much he will play a little game with you. When you call him to come in, he has "selective hearing" and he will act like he doesn't hear you, just so he can spend a few extra moments outside! It is so cute, that we laugh about it every time! Charlie is just beginning to play with toys a little, and he does love his nyla-bone!
One thing that makes Charlie stand out is that he LOVES car rides! He is ready to go with you at a moment's notice! If he even hears your car keys jingle - he races to the door with a wagging tail and a look on his face that says "would you like some company on your car trip". If you love a companion on your trips, this is your guy. (Note: just remember to NEVER leave a dog alone in a car - it gets too hot and they can literally die within minutes).
Charlie is really smart. He is already potty trained and he is also crate trained. He also loves walks and does well on a leash. He is a quiet guy (not a big barker) unless the door bell rings. If the door bell rings, he will bark to let you know company has arrived! Then he quiets down quickly.
Charlie is also a cuddler. He loves to sit with you and enjoy life. He loves getting under a blanket for nap time. If you want someone to cuddle with - Charlie is definitely a willing partner! Charlie is looking for a great family to grow up with.
Charlie is neutered, micro chipped, up-to-date on shots, HW negative and on heartworm prevention. He is ready to join a loving family - could you be his perfect home?
This dog is a CRT rescue. Reference checks, adoption contract and $200 adoption donation is required.
