My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Naomi is a 7 months old Zen master. With all the understanding and calm in the world she will look at you patiently, meow invitingly, and become friends instantaneously.
Naomi was rescued from Animal Care and Control kill list. She was abandoned, malnourished, and scared… and then it was decided to euthanize her for a silly treatable cold. Euthanasia should be a mercy kill… but there was no mercy here. Naomi was in danger and desperate for a way out.
We at Empty Cages Collective believe that ALL animals are our fellow sentient beings worthy of respectful and compassionate treatment.

Now safe, Naomi is again her true self. She is kind and loving, and looking for a family that would give her security and affection.

Naomi is spayed, is up to date with her shots, microchipped, and FELV/FIV negative.
You can visit her 7 days a week at Bushwick Bark, a pet supply store at 175 Knickerbocker Avenue in Bushwick, Brooklyn. They are open 7 days a week and are right off the Jefferson L Train. For more information on Bushwick Bark, please visit their website: www.bushwickbark.com
