Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Georgia #1454 is a 1-year-old female, Shepherd mix. She weighs in at 55 pounds. Georgia is an affectionate and active dog who loves to play. She is attentive and eager to learn. Georgia was terrified when she first came to us. She hid in her cage and refused to even except our tasty treats. With a lot of work, love, and patience she is coming out of her shell! Her foster family reports that she is fully house trained and crate trained. She knows basic commands: come sit, lay down, shake, fetch, and she even has table manners, she lays away from the dinner table! She is great with children and other dogs. Her hobbies include: chewing rawhides, the dog park, and playing tag and hide-and-seek with people and dogs. Georgia is still a bit shy, she needs an adopter who will encourage confidence building and provide a stable environment she can trust and grow in. She would do best in a home with a fenced in backyard. We highly recommend continued obedience training; it stimulates the dog's mind, establishes a good dog/adopter relationship and builds the dog's confidence.
