My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Wiley is a 35 pound heart worm negative shepherd mix who looks very much like a Carolina dog. At 10 months of age, he is no longer a chunky, clumsy puppy but rather he is fit and lean and on the cusp of adulthood. Long legged, he runs with the graceful athleticism of his wild forebears- fluid and efficient, using his lengthy tail for balance and change of direction.
His healthy and thick coat is the color of a perfectly toasted marshmallow at a 4th of July wiener roast. And. Oh. Those. Ears…. Like ‘super-size-me’ inverted waffle cones sitting at perfect 45 degree angles off the side of his head- they are crazy big and sure to prompt a smile.
Wiley enjoys a romp and run with other dogs and is fast drawn to people; he is gentle and sweet with children. A perfect age to integrate effortlessly into any family, Wiley is eager to prove that though he may not be your whole life, he is ready to make your life whole.
