This cat is one of too many examples of human selfishness, and disregard of animals. Mandu was adopted when she was a kitten by a 16-year old (problem #1), who showed zilch in the department of responsibility. This teenager clearly learned irresponsibility from her parents, because when they got divorced; mom wouldn't allow the cat to come with her, and the dad kept the cat but stated if his teen didn't take care of the cat she couldn't be kept. FAIR ENOUGH,--- except they needed to actually find another home, but instead, threw this poor defenseless cat outside.

Now poor Mandu is in another bad situation. She's been taken in "temporarily" by a family. The man of the house says the cat can't stay. They have an appointment at the highest kill shelter in the area on July 18th, so a foster or permanent home is needed right away. Please consider helping this poor cat... let's not keep allowing her to be let down and in the cross hairs of danger and let down.

** Mandu's caretaker will take her to the vet prior to adoption. We have told her that the cat should be spayed, and UTD on shots. You may also contact us for low cost spay/neuter/vaccination vets.
