Please meet Marley! She is 4 years old and came to us as an owner surrender. She is a total sweetheart and has been an absolute joy in her foster home!
Marley loves to bask in any sunny spot in the house she can find, enjoys napping on her bed, butt scratches, and carrying her favorite stuffy around the house and wiggling her butt! She enjoys evening walks (more so that morning ones); she prefers a collar/leash over wearing her harness. Marley really enjoys being outdoors, and sometimes prefers to just sit outside and listen to the birds rather than going for her walk. She also absolutely loves car rides! If she’s near a car, she wants to get in… that includes on her walks when cars are driving close.
Marley is a super laid back dog. She is very good about going in and out of her crate, and is completely housetrained. Marely does have some separation anxiety, but if she is kept on a predictable schedule, she does just fine. Her foster mom does highly suggests leaving some music or the TV on for background noise when leaving. Marley does not like the vacuum cleaner and will bark at it.
Marley enjoys a diet of sweet potato and venison food to help with her allergies, and she should remain on this type of food once she goes to her furever home. She does have a small amount of flank alopecia and needs her folds wiped daily. Marley does have a slightly crocked jaw, which is why her tongue hangs out… we think it adds character :)
Marley does well with other dogs, children 5 years old and over, and seems to ignore cats. She has no ongoing medical needs, is spayed, and up to date on shots. Please consider opening up your heart and giving Marley her furever home!

All of our dogs are kept in private foster homes and for the privacy of our foster families, we do not allow meet and greets until the potential adopter's application has been approved.
