found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.
I am already neutered, housetrained, in need of an experienced adopter, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.
GUNNER’S STORY: Gunner entered a shelter as a stray with long, matted fur and very frightened. When his matted hair was shaved off, large open wounds were found on his neck and back possibly from an animal attack. He was hospitalized for treatment of these wounds. After 10 days of care, he was transferred to a foster home. Gunner weighs 9 lbs and will probably be about 10 lbs. He has a short, white curly coat of hair except along his back the hair is beige in color.
Gunner is a very mellow, mild mannered young dog. Upon arrival to his foster home, he was shy. Within a short period of time, he started following his foster family from room to room, and sleeps in a dog bed next to them. Gunner is house trained.
When Gunner arrived, he didn’t know why the other dogs were excited when called to get a treat, now he quickly finds his foster mom when he hears the words “Gunner, come and get a treat.” He enjoys the companionship of other small dogs and gets along well with other dogs. Gunner would do best in a quiet household as he prefers to be approached in a calm, gentle manner, and likes scheduled routines.
Gunner will be at the Dog Days of Summer in Cardiff, CA this Saturday.
