Rosie's Story...
** Pending adoption** My name is Rosie and I'm a proud Staffordshire Terrier girl. I'm very beautiful in a brindle and golden eyed sort of way. I'm also very beautiful in a big girl sort of way, although I have been put on a diet against my wishes! Now I have a lovely waistline and I'm feelin' SASSY! I'm pretty sure you won't want any other dogs if you take me home, cause I like to be the only one on the couch besides you, plus there wouldn't be lots of extra room. I'm a "people person" and an "easy keeper", and I would never poop on your floor.... Plus, I won't run you ragged, cause long walks are for young, silly dogs, although I do enjoy a nice leisurely stroll. All I need is a couch, a chew toy, a cheese pizza every now and then, and YOU. XOXOXO

Rosie is 5 years old, spayed, microchipped and up to date on her shots. Her adoption fee is $75.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rosie, a Eugene American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff for sale in Eugene, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff dog from a breeder in Eugene.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Eugene already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Eugene breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/Mastiff rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Eugene paves the way for another one to be saved.
