My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ruger is my name, and totally awesome is my game!  My D.O.B. is 2/05/09.  I have the most alluring temperment, or so I have been told by the staff at MAS.  I love to hang out with people and be part of any action....doesn't matter what kind of action just action.  I have spent time in the office of the adoption coordinator and just sat on the kuranda bed.  I am working on my commands, and loving any treats that the staff gives me.  I would definately have to have a large yard that I could run around in.  I have met a dog named Betty here and done well. Betty got adopted and now I am in a playgroup with Piper, another female terrier mix. I seem to do better with smaller female dogs.  I love toys and playing with you.  I like kids, but I also may need older kids in the home and not so much toddlers as I can be grabby with my treats.   I know I am going to make the best dog you have ever had. I was supposed to go home three different times out here, but something came up with my humans each time. I am very patiently waiting the right fit for me.   Please come and see me soon.
For safety's sake, we are looking for homes with physical fenced in areas.
